Fraternal and personal greetings to one and all.
 It is indeed an honor to have been elected as the Potentate of El Zaribah Shrine Temple for 2008. Lady Gina and I look forward to working with each of you to make this a great year for our Shrine.
This year some new events are being planned in an effort to make the Shrine more family friendly. Please feel free to contact any member of the Divan with your comments and opinions. As we move forward with our five year plan which is designed to manage and advance the fraternity, your input is important to us. As a Masonic family, I look toward a bright future for all of us with your help.

- The ONIONs are Coming!!!
Tom Calvin has just learned from Tarver Farms that they will load the truck Tuesday, May 6th for delivery to Arizona. The stops will be as follows:
Friday, May 9th: First stop in Payson with Zane Grey Shrine Club then on to
El Zaribah
Saturday, May 10th: First stop is in Prescott at
Mingus Mountain Shrine Club, then on to Lake Havasu and
the Lake Havasu Shrine Club and finally on to Bullhead City and Mohave Shrine Club.
What are the times you ask? We don’t know. When the truck is loaded Tuesday, Tarver will then contact us with the phone number for the truck driver so that we can contact him in route and get a good estimate on the times of delivery.
At El Zaribah, due to Friday being Shriner Appreciation Night at the Rattlers game, we plan to unload the truck upon arrival Friday and be open on Saturday at 9:00 AM for distribution. Ed Stolze will begin contacting everyone to arrange that.
- May 9 - ARIZONA RATTLERS - El Zaribah Shriners Appreciation Night
- May 13 - Mother's Day Brunch - 11 am to 3 pm Seating limited to first 300 reservations. Reservation required. $25 for adults, $10 child 10 yrs and under, Free to children 5 and under.
- May 17 - Shrine's BIG NIGHT

 The busses load Friday August 8 at 10:00 a.m.
Return Sunday August 10 arriving back at El Zaribah about 4:00 p.m.
The cost is $150 per person based on double occupancy, and $180 for single occupancy.
Sign up as soon as possible – there is only room on the busses for 96 people. We promise lots of food and drinks on the trip up and back – and a healthy dose of competition between the 2 busses.
