A Keen Eye on 2015
It is truly an honor to serve El Zaribah as Potentate for 2015. We will do so with the utmost honor and respect for our traditions and a keen eye to the future of our Shrine. The year 2015 is proving to be an exciting year! We have been working on several initiatives to improve our Temple. First, we are researching the option of installing Point of Sale (POS) machines in the Red Fez Room. This would allow us to take credit/debit cards for members and rentals, keep electronic inventories, generate statistical reports, and cut down on the time spent on staff reporting. Second, we have been working to launching an online Shopping Cart section on this website. It will permit anyone to buy online El Zaribah Merchandise, Event Tickets, Pay Dues, Make Donations and more. We will be starting with Past and Present Potentate Bolos, Various Shrine, Unit, or Club activities Tickets, 2015 1st Ladies Jewelry, and 2015 Men’s and Women’s Shirts.
The Theme for 2015 is Fun, Fraternalism, & Philanthropy.
Fun: We need to keep this aspect at the front of everything we do, once our efforts become “work” we will cease to exist.
Fraternalism: We are here because of our Fraternity and we must honor that aspect. From our Fraternity comes our members therefore we must take charge to ensure a healthy Fraternal Relationship.
Philanthropy: The cause that brings us to support our Temples of Mercy. The smile on a child’s face, the hug from a loving parent, the satisfaction of being part of a cause bigger than you.
